Christopher's Blue Collar Lunch Pail Pick

My friend Alyssa is going to take her road test for her driver's license today. She had said her biggest fear was hitting a curb as she parallel parked. I told her that if she had put enough effort in practicing (which she has), that over thinking it would not help, and her instincts would get her through it with ease. I believe a successful handicapper thinks along these lines as well. How many times have you looked at a game so many ways, you actually talked yourself OUT of a wager? I am not saying that having a trove of information is bad. I am saying that prioritizing and weighing the information you are given can be the difference between playing scared and playing confident. Alyssa, good luck kiddo!!

The Boston Celtics played with heart and gusto until 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter. The crisp ball handling and astute shot selection gave way to heaving and hoping. By the end of overtime, I was the one heaving as my free play went down like Delonte West on Lebron James' mom. Losing 2 in a row is bad, but my premium plays got hammered as I went 0-2 yesterday. In capping your goal is to win more than you lose and to minimize your losing streaks. So far, so good on that end. Today, if history holds, I will be giving out a winner here, and 2 winners on www.vegaskillers.com. Check out the site for my different ways of joining. My rates are inexpensive, but my information is not!!

We are heading out to the thin air of Colorado to cap the match up between the Mets and the Rockies. Michael Pelfrey & Jason Hammel are the probable starting pitchers, Both have pitched well as of late giving up less than 3 runs a game in their last 3 outings. Pelfrey is the type of pitcher that can pitch a one hitter one day and give up 10 runs the next. His style of pitching makes that more likely than others. Hammel has pitched extremely well, but his ERA at home is almost twice his ERA on the road. Taken that into account, he should give up 5 runs today. Take Pelfrey's ERA into account, and he should give up 6 runs today. Take both bullpens into account, and my account adds up to more $$ as my free play of the day is Rockies/Mets OVER 9 -120
