What do you call it when 18 guys smack balls around for 3 hours until 9 of the guys walk away smiling? It is either a typical night in a San Fransisco bath house or the over total covering in last nights Rockie/Dodger game. In the later innings, no lead became safe between these two. That was just fine for me and my readers as our free play of the day wins again. Including premium plays, i was 2-1 yesterday which is the type of grinding workman like day you can expect from me. You can get my premium plays FREE for a week if you would like. All you have to do is email me at casperwaits@hotmail.com and ask me for them. The ONLY stipulation is if I hit a mark of +300 UNITS or better with my week of plays, you sign up with my service at www.vegaskillers.com for a month. It is only $99.99 and with that you get my knowledge and stable of Vegas informers at your fingertips for a whole month. This month will also throw in marital advice as well. With Oprah off the air, someone has to and who better than a guy that has been rejected more often than Mugsy Bogues going in for a layup against Manute Bol. Give me a shot, and you won't be disappointed!
Mets and Pirates. Battle of the offensive juggernauts. Both teams score like Lindsey Lohan in a crack den. Eh, not quite, but today I have a couple of reasons why I am playing the over in this game. Last 33 match ups between these 2 teams, the OVER has covered 23 times with 1 push. Granted, take the changing of rosters into account, but that stat is something you can hang a small hat on. This year the OVER is 4-2. Secondly, Correia & Capuano are not pitchers that scare the bejeezus out of hitters. Think Mike Meyers in "Studio 54" scary and not Mike Meyers in "Halloween" scary. 8 is the total number. If you have read my blog before, you know how I like 8. So many games go 4-4 in later innings. I am still tying to compile a percentage on how often a 4-4 tie occurs in a game, but until then, I trust my many years of watching baseball and saying "Wow, it's 4-4, time for another beer." Lastly, both teams left runners in scoring position last night. The Mets played like they thought they would get 4 outs an inning. Typically, the day after an UNDER cover with both teams hitting the ball and leaving men on base leads to a big OVER cover the next day. My free play to all my sports freaks is Mets/Pirates OVER 8 -110
