The Daily Grind

 We are changing things up a bit on the sports blog. You will notice a new name and a new email address to send ideas and client sign ups to. Vegas Killers and I have parted ways. As saddened as I am by this, I enjoyed working with them immensely. In this business, you have to take it one day at a time. I see today as a rebirth more than a setback. Hopefully my readership will grow by leaps and bounds this football season. You my readers now can expect solid plays as well as avenues to express your ideas as well. The Sports Illuminati will be a group of sports bettors with one purpose. That purpose is to find plays we can all agree on. This will take effect soon. I will keep all of you updated!  Today I am looking at the Oakland/Texas match up. Trevor Cahill and Colby Lewis are both pitchers with ERA's in the low 4's. When either of these pitchers have pitched against these teams, the over is 7-2. Considering both pitchers have ERA's of 7.16 and 4.86 over their last 3 starts, it is hard to imagine them stopping that trend today. Another factor is the game went under yesterday. I am a big believer that when a game goes under the night before, the day game will go over. I wish I could find stats to type up to prove my beliefs, but I cannot seem to find them. This being said, I am taking Oakland/Texas OVER 8.5 -115
