Today we are going NCAA football in out free play. Looking at the Virginia Tech/North Carolina match up the total is jumping out at us. Virginia Tech is 3-7 ATS and they are favored by double digits. Are we to assume tonight they cover? If they do, many games we see with lower totals and double digit favorites tend to have the favorite and the UNDER covering. In fact the UNDER is 4-0-1 in games that Virginia Tech was a double digit favorite.  If we go with the assumption that Virginia Tech will not cover, the UNDER seems like the solid play as North Carolina is 5-5 in total games this season. North Carolina's last game was a 13-0 loss in which they gave up less then 170 passing yards. This stat is important because in games following a QB passing for less then 170 yards against them, the UNDER is 4-0 this season.
