Normally we stay away from 5 goal totals, but today we see no reason to shy away from the OVER in this game. The Blackhawks are a -115 road favorite in this game. That is good for the OVER because Chicago OVER is 4-1 in the last 5 times that situation arose. The OVER is also 4-1 when they play a team with a home winning percentage greater than .600. The Wild scored less than 2 goals their last game out. When the Blackhawks plays a team that did that the previous game, the OVER is 7-2. The OVER is also 6-2 in the last 8 games after the Blackhawks themselves allowed 2 or fewer goals the game before. These trends lead us to picking Chicago/Minnesota OVER 5 -140 as our play of the day.
