THE DAILY GRIND

To all our "Daily Grind" readers, Christmas came early as we went 3-0 in our free plays yesterday. To all that played those games, you are welcome. To our premium players we went 1-2 which is not much of a gift. The good news is that was our first losing day in 6 days. If only Tennessee could have scored a touchdown from the 7 yard line in that last drive yesterday, our winning streak would have continued. Oh well, all in all a strong week for The Sports Illuminati as our premium plays went 11-6 and our free plays went 8-1. Our Bowl games went 2-1 in our Bowl Bonanza as well! Today we are going MNF for our free play. Pittsburgh and the gimpy Roethlisberger travel to San Fran to face the surging 49er's. The total opened at 39 and has dropped to 37.5. The way we see it is San Fran will stay in this game by running the ball and taking time off the clock. Pittsburgh will actually check down more often then expected but not start scoring until the 2nd half. Expect San Fran to counteract with the 2nd half Pitt offense with a systematical slow down offense. Yes Pitt will score on the majority of their possessions the 2nd half, but the possessions will be limited. We can see a final score of Pitt 20 San Fran 16 coming on a late TD rush by Roethlisberger.
