THE DAILY GRIND

Although our free play lost yesterday our premium plays had another winning day this week as we went 2-1. Our last 7 day stretch has us with 5 winning days and 2 losing days! After a horrible start to 2012, we are beginning to right the ship slowly.

Our NHL record is 116-79-8 at the halfway point. Not to shabby! We are offering the rest of the NHL season for $50. Email us at sportsilluminati@hotmail.com if you are interested.

LINKS OF THE MONTH:

http://www.bookiebash.net/ is another up and coming handicapper that we talk to on a regular basis. He has some strong insight in NBA. Check him out!

http://www.jessicalavoiephotography.com is a website of one of the best photographers in New York. Her knowledge in front of the camera gives her insight and perspective very few photographers have. Check her out if you are looking for a photographer for all special occasions.

www.sickvalleyproductions.com  a website that features an array of adult performers that are taking the industry by storm. Ariella Ferrera is one of the adult actresses featured and The Sports Illuminati predicts HUGE things from this woman. Yeah, I know we handicap sports, but we are pretty good at handicapping value in the adult industry as well! We hope to offer DVD copies of movies and other goodies from this company in the future as "incentive" to sign up with us!

www.teflonbet.com is a new sports forum site that is beginning to get new visitors daily. The only way this site will work is if we can get the cream of the crop on there to talk about sports and betting in general. I am recommending it because I have always felt good sports banter online has made me personally a better bettor. The more you talk about a subject intelligently, the more knowledge you obtain.

www.thehockeyprogram.net   is a site for all things hockey. The guy that runs this site is not only extremely passionate about hockey, but spends a crazy amount of time talking about it online. I have been following him this NHL season and if you have seen our NHL record, you can understand why this site has a lot to offer.

FREE PLAY OF THE DAY:
Chicago/Miami OVER 191 -110:
The NBA season so far has been a lot different then the last one in scoring. This year scoring is down considerably and the totals posted by bookmakers is the proof. Totals in the mid 180's is more prevalent then the ones in the 200's this year. This is why today's Chicago/Miami total has a "?" factor to it. Both of these teams play strong defense and the total seems a bit high at 191. As I looked at a couple of trends, I can see how the average bettor may get caught up in the defensive factor and dismiss a couple of trends. At home, Miami OVER is 4-0 against teams with a winning record this year. The OVER is also 5-1 when Miami plays a team that scored 100 points or more in their last outing. The Bulls OVER s 4-0 after a game they did not cover the spread. These numbers point this game having a back and forth scoring composite for the first half with the scoring slowing down in the second half, only to see the OVER cover on free throws in a close game in the 4th.
