Christopher's Blue Collar Lunch Pail Pick

Ever go on a blind date and when you see the girl, she is not what you find attractive? You go through with the date anyway, knowing that she may have friends she could hook you up with down the road. That's how watching my plays of the day feels like lately. I make the pick, look forward to watching the pick, and when it begins, I feel like it may not be what I expected. I stay around and watch the inevitable outcome, hoping to find information that can lead to more promising days. I do this for you folks. I do this because I care. Last night's date was an early afternoon affair, so I spent my night watching the NFL draft. I PROMISE I will never pick like the Minnesota Vikings for you folks. I am a New England Patriot GM of sports capping. I research, look for value, and even if the plays look questionable on paper, over time, we will come out winners. Stick with me, and we will go places!! Remember, my premium plays are still $$ in at a very good pace. Check out my capping offers at www.vegaskillers.com!

The Detroit Tigers are coming off of a rough series against the Seattle Mariners losing all three at home. Tonight, they try to find the magic against a Cleveland Indian team that has played way above their heads in the early going. Tigers pitcher Max Scherzer has pitched extremely well, and has the capabilities to stop the bleeding and get the Tigers back on the winning pace. Jeanmar Gomez has pitched only 7 innings this season for the Indians, so I do not take to much credence in his inflated ERA. The stat that jumps out at me in this match up is the run support Scherzer gets after a Tigers loss the night before. The Tigers have scored a total of 26 runs for him in 3 games which he appeared after a loss. That may seem like a trivial stat, but in my years of watching MLB, I have seen pitchers that have the ability to relax his teams hitters when he hits the mound and the offense has been struggling. Scherzer is one of those pitchers. I also like only laying -115 with him on the mound. I don't see getting value like that when he pitches to many times this season. These two reasons are why I am making my play of the day Detroit Tigers -115
