Christopher's Blue Collar Lunch Pail Pick

So I have a major sore throat today. Not the sore throat that a lozenger and hot tea helps. This is the sore throat that leaves you talking like the Godfather. I am not sure if I got it from yelling at the television watching my beloved Boston Red Sox leave more men on base than an in house naval hooker, or from my friend Corrissa 2700 miles away kinetically. Either way, the pain I feel will not be as painful as the hurt you guys will inflict on the sports books after you bet my free play of the day! Yesterday, we hit our blog pick which brings our winning streak up to 1!! I searched long and hard (that's what she said) for the play of the day and came across a gem. Without further adieu, I unleash upon you readers the free play of the day.

Cincinnati and Florida are two very closely matched teams when they play head to head. Both games they have played each other this season has been decided by 1 run. With Florida winning the majority of the game, Cincy scored 3 times in the bottom of the 8th to tie the score at 3-3 and force the game to into extra innings where they eventually won it in the 10th. Today, I see another close game with two starting pitchers, very similar in their statistic makeup. Bronson Arroyo and Ricky Nolasco have been giving up a little over 3 runs a game this season. One thing I did see is in their last 3 starts, Arroyo has given up almost a full run more than Nolasco. Arroyo has always been a pitcher that scatters hits. Will Florida only get 5 hits and leave 9 men on base like they did yesterday? I see Florida getting at least twice as many hits, and scoring twice as many runs as they did yesterday. Cincinnati is 2-10 in their last 12 games as the favorite while conversely, Florida is 6-2 in their last 8 as the underdog. Today, my free play of the day is Florida -102. Let's $$$ it in!!!!
