     The Yankees and Indians clash in the 3rd game of a series that could be a playoff match up. Phil Hughes is starting for the first time for the Yankees in over 6 weeks and Justin Masterson is on the hill for the Indians. Hughes has had dead arm problems, and when he gets hit, he gets hit hard, Considering how well the Yankees pitching has been lately, I doubt they would bring Hughes back if they didn't feel he was ready, Masterson is a cagey pitcher who gives up hits, but not runs. The Indians offense does not scare me and the Yankees offense is coming off of a 18 hit display. Will Masterson give up 12 hits and 4 runs this game? That is my guess. Hughes will pitch 6 innings of 1 run ball, and the Yankee bullpen will shut down the Indians in the later innings,. Expect to see a 6-2 final score.
