Christopher's Blue Collar Lunch Pail Pick

A couple of my readers have chastised me for making spelling and punctuation mistakes on my blog. Because of this, I enlisted an octopus to do all my typing for me. I also enlisted a parrot to answer my phone, an elephant to keep track of my daily reminders, and a monkey to make my free pick for the day. Considering I had an awful day yesterday, he could not do any worse than I did.

As the monkey continues to pour over stats and what not, I am going to have a giveaway. What I want you to do is write a couple of sentences why you are leery of sports handicappers. Email me at Cheim@vegaskillers.com and I will send you a premium play FREE. No strings attached. I am curious what my readers think of the industry, and maybe we can work together and find a way to dispel your fears of the business. You can still sign up with me at www.vegaskillers.com. I offer daily, weekly, monthly and yearly packages. I will start tomorrow with Betting Commandment #3. Until then, here is my play of the day.

I am heading out to Colorado where the Rockies are taking on the Braves. We have a team that is over .500 on the road facing a team that has lost 4 times to them already. We have an established pitcher in Derek Lowe squaring off against Jason Hammels who is about as consistent as a bi polar orator. We have a pitcher that has beaten the Rockies already once this season. We have a ML of +115 for the Braves. Searched high and low for a reason to play the Rockies at -125. Couldn't find one. Guess who I am playing......the Rockies. Yes, this game screams at me "Screwy Line". Every once in a while I see a game that makes you scratch your head. Those games are when I play the opposite of what all the information is yelling at me. Go ahead and laugh at my reasoning, but in the end of the day, the Rockies bettors will $$. My play of the day is Colorado Rockies -125

37-35-2 +$84.00 ($100 A PLAY)
