An amazing first Sunday in football with a couple of wins by teams not expected to win more than 5 games this season. The Bills won easily over the Chiefs while the Bengals kept the upstart Browns at bay with a win. The Falcons looked in preseason form against the Bears losing by double digits while Cam Newton passed for over 400 yards in a close loss to Arizona. I personally went 2-1 with the Bills and Redskins winning handily. My only loss was the chargers -8.5 and them winning by 7. All in all, not a bad day. So the New England Patriots are one of the AFC favorites to go to the Super Bowl. So Tom Brady is the god of QB's with Manning out indefinitely. So the Patriots tend to cruise in the regular season only to lose in the first round of the playoffs as of late. Why am I jumping on Miami +7 tonight? A couple of bullet points to ponder. As bad as the Dolphins will end up this year in my opinion, they will implement a new look offense in tonight's game. New England had trouble with Miami the last time they implemented a new look offense if you remember correctly. New England also has a tendency to lose or not cover opening year games against bad teams. Do we remember what the Bills did to them 6 years ago? The Miami pass rush is top notch and if Brady is hurried, watch the running game come into effect which will eat time off the clock and give Miami a chance to keep the game close.
