With both NCAA and NFL football in full swing, I am going to give out 5 FREE plays on my blog today instead of one. These 3 plays will encompass the whole weekend of football action. Syracuse +14.5 vs USC: A much improved team this year, look for Syracuse to play 4 quarters of football instead of the 2 they have played in each of their first 2 games. Wouldn't be surprised if they were leading at the half.

Buffalo Bills -3 vs Oakland Raiders : I liked this play a lot more before the sports casters began to rave about the Bills. I don't take their win over the Chiefs as a sign the Bills are THAT much improved. I took that as a sign that Kansas City is not a very good team. The Raiders even in their Monday night win, failed to impress me. They barely beat a Denver team that is still trying to find their identity. While the same could be said about Buffalo, I have more faith in Fitzpatrick than in Orton. Expect the Bills to put points on the board while the Bills run defense slows down McFadden.

Duke +7 vs Boston College : You would think as much as I play Duke, I would have went to college there. No they have not covered the first 2 games of the season, and rightfully so. The team has looked strong in spurts, but tend to falter late in the game. Playing a BC team that has similar problems, I can see this being a close game with Duke eeking out the win. I like getting 7.5 in a game that could very well go into overtime.
