Some people are already jumping ship on these teams, and it is beginning to reflect it in betting patterns and in the lines themselves. Sports betting is a lot like a baseball season. You are going to have win streaks, and losing streaks. The idea is to be ahead at the end of the season to show a profit. I am a grinder, and blue collar player as you may. I will have weeks I am average, but some weeks I will look invincible. Like the aforementioned teams, we know it is a long season, and with the proper focus and resolve, we will end up far enough on top that popping open champagne and celebrating will be in order!

That stat should be unsettling for a team that is the early on favorite to win their weak division. Ian Kennedy takes the mound for Arizona, and while that may not sound like a good reason to jump on the Diamondbacks, keep in mind the guy last year had an ERA under 4.00 for the season. Arroyo, who has been a workhorse for Cincinnati, is a pitcher who will give you 7 durable innings. The thing is, he does give up hits. Put two pitchers on the mound that are comparable in style and makeup, and a +150 line begins to look good. Like I said in my blog 2 days ago. Underdogs DO win in baseball.
