Miami and Chicago are showing us why they were the 1 & 2 seeds respectively out of the Eastern Conference yesterday. Taking commanding leads in their series, both teams haven't been dominating score wise, but both are getting the job done. Portland wins a needed game against Dallas, but fail to cover the 5.5 point spread by winning by only 5. You will see that if you bet on a regular basis, you will lose games or win games by the smallest of margins many times. Don't be discouraged when you lose close games. The linesmaker's jobs are to be accurate. What I try to do is find a game that not only has value, but a line that may be off a couple of points after I do my research. It doesn't happen daily, but when it does, I will be here to share it with you. On the MLB front, the Red Sox are beginning to play like the team we expected and also rans that started hot are beginning to come back to earth like the Cleveland Indians. Cleveland lost a tough one in the 9th inning yesterday to a young Kansas City team that is playing loose. Kansas City may be a team we can find value in as the season progresses.
Today I am thinking bats are going to come alive in Seattle. We have two teams that offense has looked anemic at times, and are coming off of a 1-0 game yesterday. The last 11 games between these two teams, the OVER is 7-2-2. For the Athletics, Tyson Ross is on the mound. He hasn't started a game the season, and I am going under the presumption that after the Seattle lineup sees him the first time around, he will get hit. Micheal Pineda has pitched very well for Seattle this season. Averaging about 3.5 walks and 5 hits per 9 innings, he is a youngster with plenty of upside. That being said, Oakland is averaging about 4 runs a game against similar pitchers and with the total line being 6.5, I can see this game going over in the later innings. My FREE PLAY OF THE DAY is Oakland/Seattle OVER 6.5 -120
1-4-0 -265 Units
