Hey readers. It is 4 am on the west coast as I write this. The flu is going around and I am breathing out of my mouth. When God gave me a big nose, I was really hoping one of the benefits would be the ability to breathe under any circumstance. Alas, this is not the case. With this flu comes lack of sleep. The benefit for you guys is I have spent close to 12 hours researching and talking to sharps around Vegas. Our free play picks have won 3 in a row, and my premium plays are still in the positive $$. Before I bestow upon you my play of the day, I wanted to bring up an amazing woman I met last week. Devon Michaels is an adult film icon that lives in Vegas, and I had the pleasure to see her at a karaoke bar. Not only is she beautiful, but she was extremely engaging. Her knowledge of sports was also mind blowing! Knowing that some of my readers enjoy looking at beautiful women, I implore you to check out Devon live on her webcam at http://devonmichaels.cammodels.com/ She does live shows regularly, and she is so worth the watch. If you go and check it out, tell her I sent you.
People ask me "Chris, how do you decide which totals in MLB are worth a wager?" I basically go by a couple of rules of thumb. If I like an OVER, both teams usually hit poorly the night before. Over the years, i have seen that when two teams hit poorly or left many men on base the night before, they explode offensively the next day. Another good sign for an OVER bet is the total record in the park they are playing at. Some parks are hitters parks, and some aren't. You may notice that San Diego Padres games are usually 6.5-7 in runs totals. San Diego doesn't hit and their ball park is harder to score in than a nunnery. With those criteria in mind, today I am playing the San Fran/New York Mets OVER 7.5. In the last 13 games, the OVER gone 10-3 in New York. San Fran was shut out yesterday, and the Mets scored only 2 runs in their extra inning win against Philadelphia on Sunday. The two pitchers on the mound, Dickey & Vogelsong are reliable pitchers with decent ERA respectively this season. This is a major reason why the total is a bit low in my opinion. I can see both these teams getting to each others bullpen, and covering the OVER late in the game. My free play of the day is San Fran/New York OVER 7.5 -115. Let's $$$ some winners folks!!
