Christopher's Blue Collar Lunch Pail Pick

So my friend Corrissa is my official good luck charm. After wishing me "luck in betting games and stuff", I have gone 4-0 on my free plays of the day. Always the superstitious fellow, I know text her every morning asking her to wish me luck. Last night as I was watching Fransisco Liriano pitch a no hitter, I thought about the superstitions that surround pitchers going deep into a no hit bid. Other players avoid them. The mention of the possible no hitter is taboo. Probably others I am not familiar with. I know my friend Mush won't move from his seat if the team he bet on is winning. The guy once peed in a Gatorade bottle because he didn't want to jinx the team he bet on. I told Mush maybe to hold off on the beer during a sporting event. He laughed and said that was like asking Hugh Hefner to start dating girls his own age. I hope that with my free plays and my premium plays (1-0-1 yesterday) you won't have to sweat out to many wagers. I hope I can become a good luck charm for you guys. Just know that as you are rubbing troll doll heads, I am laboring away over stats. Wearing your lucky sweater, I am on the phone with sharp Vegas players. Peeing in suspect canisters, I am comparing notes with other handicappers. As Corrissa says "Good luck in betting games and stuff" fellas. It can't hurt having a little luck on our side.

Today I am focusing on the Colorado/Arizona match up. These two teams play each other so often if seems, they probably could finish each others sentences at this point. Last night Arizona squeaked out the home win. A team not expected to to do much this season, Arizona has shown moxy in the first 30 games of the season. Colorado started off hot, but have cooled down a bit as of late. If this match up happened 2 weeks ago, you may have gotten Colorado at -145 as a road favorite. I am very happy to grab them at -129 today. Colorado is 9-3 in their last 12 games on the road. Jhoulys Chacin has been as hard to hit as it is to spell his name. Granted his 3-2 record doesn't show it, but don't let that scare you. Arizona has been averaging 4 runs a game against Colorado this year, and with Barry Enright and his 5.76 ERA on the mound for them, they will need to be more productive than that at the plate if they expect to win. After losing last night, Colorado is primed to attack early and often. My free play of the day is Colorado -129.
